These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tesagi (the "Service"), including our website, replay analysis tools, accounts, subscriptions, and mineral purchases. By creating an account, signing in, uploading a replay, subscribing, or making any purchase, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Tesagi provides tools to upload, store, analyze, and share StarCraft: Brood War replay files and related statistics. Features, limits, pricing, and availability may change at any time without notice. We may add, remove, or modify features, tiers, queues, mineral grants, or analysis capabilities at our sole discretion.
Tesagi is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment or any other rights holder. StarCraft and related marks are property of their respective owners.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, fraud, or operational reasons.
3. Your content and conduct
You retain ownership of replays and other content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and derive analysis from your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
You agree not to:
- Upload content you do not have the right to share;
- Use the Service for unlawful, harassing, or abusive purposes;
- Attempt to bypass access controls, billing, rate limits, or security measures;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law;
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
You are solely responsible for replay visibility settings (public vs private) and for what you share via links. We are not responsible for how others use content you make public.
4. Paid services — subscriptions and purchases
Paid memberships, mineral packs, and other digital goods are offered subject to the descriptions on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Prices, tiers, monthly grants, queue priority, and feature entitlements may change for future billing periods or new purchases.
Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe). You authorize us and our payment partners to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscriptions until you cancel from your account Subscription page or we terminate access.
4.1 No refunds
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, credits, or prorated returns for:
- Subscription fees (monthly, yearly, or otherwise), including partial billing periods;
- One-time purchases, including mineral packs and any other digital goods;
- Unused, partially used, or expired minerals, simulation credits, or tier benefits;
- Downgrades, cancellations, account closure, or dissatisfaction with analysis results.
Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access to paid features. Where required by applicable law, your statutory rights remain unaffected; otherwise, you waive any refund expectation to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4.2 Subscriptions
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless canceled before the renewal date. Canceling stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior period. Benefits tied to a subscription may end when the billing period ends.
4.3 Minerals and digital entitlements
Minerals and similar credits are virtual entitlements with no cash value. They are not transferable, redeemable for money, or guaranteed to remain available indefinitely. We may adjust balances, grants, or consumption rules for abuse prevention, errors, or service changes.
4.4 Tesagi Viewer (desktop software)
Tesagi Viewer is a separate one-time purchase for a Windows desktop application. Each purchase includes one license key that may be activated on a single computer. Additional computers require additional purchases. License keys are delivered digitally after payment; activation binds a key to one machine and cannot be transferred.
Tesagi Viewer is provided as-is. We do not guarantee compatibility with future StarCraft: Remastered releases, patches, or changes by Blizzard Entertainment. The software may stop working without notice if the game or related APIs change. Free trial builds may impose usage limits and are offered without warranty.
All Tesagi Viewer sales are final and non-refundable, including after activation or download, except where required by applicable law.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free;
- Replay parsing, simulations, build orders, stats, or timelines will be accurate or complete;
- Results will match in-game behavior or meet your competitive or analytical expectations;
- Data will be preserved forever; backups, retention, or exports may fail or be discontinued.
Analysis is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. Do not rely on Tesagi for decisions where inaccuracy could cause harm.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TESAGI AND ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REPLAYS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (USD $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tesagi and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
8. Changes and termination
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue the Service or any part of it at any time without liability.
9. General
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them freely.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.
